The RV-LUG Mailing-List was created to increase the interactivity among the RV-LUG Members.
A Mailing-List is a virtual group of people who interact with each other through E-Mail. If any member of the list sends a mail to the mailing list, it is forwarded to all the members of the list. By doing this all members can together tackle any problems or give comments and suggestions on any mail forwarded by any other member. This helps in holding informative discussions which could be a learning experience for everyone from beginners to experts.
A lot of information and tips & tricks on Linux Shall be posted on the Mailing List in frequent intervals.
To become a member of the RV-LUG Mailing-List one has to subscribe to the List. To subscribe - ( Read carefully )1.Enter your E-Mail id & click below to subscribe. Wait for the next page. Chose the way, you want to get e-mail from the next page. You can chose Separate mail(i.e. all the mail will be sent individually) or the Mail Digest (i.e. all mail will be clubbed and sent as one single mail - Better). Submit the form again. You will receive a confirmation message for subscription. Reply (blank message) to this confirmation message and you are subscribed.
Once you become a member you can send mail to rvlug@egroups.com and it will be forwarded to all the other members.

The Creator of Linux is Mr.Linus Benedict Torvalds.
Linux stands for Linux Is Not UniX.
Linux is distributed under the GNU-General Public License where GNU stands for GNU is Not Unix.
Linux is FREE i.e. Linux can be copied or distributed but along with the source code and free of charge.You can be charged for packaging and technical support.
